Mondays is washing day for me so I felt inspired by these gorgeous images of cane washing baskets and old fashioned, handmade quilts. When I was a little girl I used to love staying over at my grandma's house and crawling into bed at night. I remember being weighed down by lots of heavy eiderdowns and comforters and feeling so warm and cosy.

I love these too....old fashioned faded quilts. Cane baskets....love it. Monday has become washing day for me too, so I better get to it and get the machine filled.

Love the quilts and baskets! I have some old heirloom quilts that my great grandmother has made. They are still in good quality shape!
