This weekend I am planing on a little home baking.

I am off to the farmer's market

 to pick up some fresh locally grown fruit

to bake into an old-fashioned pie.

Whilst spring has just sprung in our part of the world

many of you are experiencing the beauty of the first few days of Autumn.

I love the rich, earthy tones you find at Autumn time :~

velvety reds, burnt orange, umber, rusty browns, chocolate and old gold.

The Autumn landscape is ablaze with vivid colour.

Its a beautiful time for a drive in the countryside

with a picnic along the way!.

Autumn Adventures

 

 

 

Autumn leads itself to all sorts of adventures.

In the summer we stick close to the beach.

In winter we hit the slopes.

In spring we tend to the garden

but in Autumn we go off exploring and

head off on adventures in the countryside.

I always get excited when the Autumn fashion arrives.

There's something warm and cosy about

Enjoying Autumn Days

 

In this part of the world we are starting to embrace Autumn
The leaves are turning golden and starting to fall.
There is a slight chill in the night air
and the shops are full of cosy knits.
It's the perfect time of year
for picnics and walks in the park.

An Autumn Weekend

 

We have some lovely adventures planned this weekend.

There's a drive to the country

with our bikes in tow.

There will be a meandering ride along the river

Walks in the park kicking Autumn leaves as we go

Some berries picked at a local farm

Hot chocolates and home baked cookies!
