I love picking apples straight from the orchard
or buying a bag at the farmer's markets.
There's nothing better than a juicy, crisp apple!

The Season's Best

 

Love this time of year when the farmer's markets 
are full of my favourite fresh seasonal produce ~
punnets of strawberries and raspberries
ripe, juicy mangoes and pineapples
and crisp fresh apples.
I could eat these summer fruits by the bowlful!

Simply Irresitable

When it comes to seasonal produce ~

this time of year is my absolute fave.
I just adore fresh, sweet strawberries
and ripe, juicy raspberries.

Blueberry Love

Seasonal Goodness

I love this time of year when my local fruit shop

starts filling up it's shelves with luscious seasonal fruit.
I am looking forward to the first of the cherries,
closely followed by apricots, nectarines and peaches.
I love all the berries
but hand picked blueberries are one of my favourite treats.

Food For Thought

Hand picked goodness

 I love the textures, aromas and colours of fresh ingredients.

Eating a rainbow can fill you with goodness :-

the lush, rich colour of strawberries,

the rich sunshine of an orange,

and the rosy red of an apple.

Sweet Endings

 

I love flicking though 'foodie magazines' and cookbooks and I couldn't be happier than spending an afternoon in the kitchen cooking up a storm for family and friends. My family loves their food and they have a great appreciation for a home cooked meal, especially if it's something new and different. I love entertaining and enjoy everything from the planning to the table settings, to the music and flowers. I'm just as happy with an intimate dinner for six as I am with casual buffet for friends or a barbeque for the entire street! I am a great believer that good food brings people together!
