By Gone Days
Here's a little vintage inspiration that brings back happy memories of my grandmother. She had some many fabulous curiosities that made every visit an adventure as I rummaged through wardrobes, dresser drawers and under beds in search of treaures to play with.
The things I loved about my grandmas' house :-
freshly baked cakes
tea served in china teacups
silver teapots with knitted cosies
vintage hat boxes
gold compacts and strands of pearls
wrought iron beds
garden roses in crystal vases.

A Splash of Colour in the Kitchen
I love a pop of colour in the kitchen especially when there are little kids in the house. The kitchen is usually the hub of everyone's home so it should be bright and cheery. I love the sense of fun that all of these kitchen possess and you can never go wrong with a white kitchen!

Vintage Chic in Lilac & Pistachio
Here's a little midweek prettiness with mauve and pistachio I'm loving the floral green quilt cover - it looks so cosy and inviting and that afternoon tea setting looks like the perfect place to while away the afternoon with a friend over a cuppa and a freshly baked friand!

Sparking Grapefruit
One of my favourite summer drinks is sparkling grapefruit. My favourite brand is 'Tiro' because of it's stylish packaging. It's perfect on a hot summer's day - bubbly, refreshing, pale pink and not too sweet. It even has the sharp, bitterweet taste of a real grapefruit. I often serve it at parties to those that aren't drinking alcohol - that way they still feel like they are still having a bit of fun!

Between The Sheets
There's nothing better than a good night's sleep and all of these beds look like they promise exactly that - a heavenly sleep! I love crisp white cotton sheets straight off the line. It makes climbing into bed such a luxury at night! I love lots of pillows so that you can prop up in bed on the weekend and flick through a magazine with a cup of coffee. It's such a lovely way to start the day!
