They are more beautiful,
smell sweeter
and last longer 
than any roses you buy from a florist.

Weekend musings ....

A lovely, relaxing weekend was spent :~

picking roses from the garden
filling the house with fresh flowers
special friends for Sunday lunch and

family outings filled with laughter.

Weekend Escape

This weekend we are planning an adventure in the country.

There will be long walks through the forest

bicycle rides around the local village

cappuccinos and cakes at quaint cafes

art galleries and antique shops to explore.

The new season pastels are heaven on a stick! 

Sugary shades of pistachio, strawberry, vanilla, lavender or melon are a perfect way to enliven a white room. The vintage styling is sweet and romantic and makes me yearn for a cute little cottage in the country!
