Today we have all the family descending upon us

for a beautiful Easter Sunday lunch in the garden.

There promises to be plenty of good food, laughter and frivolity!

There will be fun and games with an Easter egg hunt

and lots of delicious treats to eat!

Happy Easter in Pastel Shades

Easter is one of my favourite times of the year!

I am so looking forward to some time out with family and friends.
I love all the gorgeous decorations in the shops windows
and around the house.
I love pretty, shiny, foil wrapped Easter eggs.
I love hot cross buns warmed in the oven and

I love the look of excitement and anticipation

of kids going crazy on an Easter egg hunt!

I am hoping that the weather stays fine and sunny over Easter so we can do a bit of entertaining in the garden.There's nothing like setting up a party table on a green lawn, under a shady tree overlooking the garden. It's lovely surrounding yourself in nature's beauty especially with when sitting at a table laden with goodies and gorgeous flowers!

Purple Hues

Everytime I see purple in an interior decor scheme
I always think to myself 'I must start using more purple'!
It reminds me of gorgeous days spent in the countryside ~
sunny afternoons, rolling hills and lavender fields.
It is calming, tranquil colour perfectly suited to country living!
