What makes a house charming?

I believe it's the details that give a house charm and character.

It's the little things that count the most.

It's things like interesting displays and collectibles,

antiques and vintage pieces,

scatter cushions, flowers and artwork

items that reflect the owners interests and personality.

These are the things that give a home it's soul.

Garden Story

 

I am loving this chic and romantic gardening inspiration.

Sadly my garden clothes and tools

are not nearly as stylish

I really need to get my act together in that department

and look a little more fashionable in the garden!

Sweet Summer Grass

 

I love the smell and feel of summer grass.

It has a fresh sweet fragrance about it ~
especially when it's been freshly mown.
I love walking barefoot and lying in the grass
on a hot summer's day ~
it always feels cool and refreshing!

Friends Forever

 

This afternoon my girlfriends are coming over so it promises to be a frivolous afternoon
of laughter, gossip, chilled white wine and yummy things to eat!

Heavenly White Blooms

 

You can't go wrong with white flowers.
My first choice when buying flowers for the house is white lillies.
They are big and impressive, long lasting and beautifully perfumed.
White flowers are a perfect choice for any occassion.
