Swedish Style

 

 

I am a sucker for anything Scandinavian and I am also always on the hunt for a bargain, so I am loving this Swedish apartment decorated with Ikea furniture. In my younger days I have decorated many rental flats stylishly with clever pieces found at Ikea. Ikea is the perfect solution for transient living, small spaces, tight budgets, rentals, students and first home owners. If you have an eye for good design and style then Ikea has some great ideas.

I love this clean, white apartment with it's modern country twist!

Simply Irresitable

When it comes to seasonal produce ~

this time of year is my absolute fave.
I just adore fresh, sweet strawberries
and ripe, juicy raspberries.
It doesn't get more delicious than that ~
just as Mother Nature intended!

Jade Green

 Jade green is a fabulous accent colour for country interiors.

It adds life, freshness and a splash of colour to a decor scheme.

A great colour for :~

 painting a feature piece of furniture,

decororator accessories,

a collection of glazed ceramics 

or painted wooden shutters.

Loving Peony Roses

 

My favourite flower of all is the peony rose.

I love the delicacy of their densely packed petals, and the clustered chaos makes the imperfections of their blossoms even more perfect. Peony roses bloom for such a short period - if you 'blink' you will miss them. 

This makes them all the more special and appreciated!
