Loving Peony Roses

 

My favourite flower of all is the peony rose.

I love the delicacy of their densely packed petals, and the clustered chaos makes the imperfections of their blossoms even more perfect. Peony roses bloom for such a short period - if you 'blink' you will miss them. 

This makes them all the more special and appreciated!

A Study In White and Grey

I was never a fan of grey and white decor schemes ~
They always struck me as cold and unwelcoming.
 But after discovering a passion for Scandinavian design
I have seen so many gorgeous examples of this colour combintion
I have grown to appreciate what a perfectly complimentary
colour scheme this duo can make!

Spring Romance

 

It's with a little sadness that I watch the last days of spring fade away. The cherry blossom petals have all blown away in the breeze and the last of the spring flowers have been picked. The grass is lush and green and the garden is a chorus of chirping birds. Lazy, sunny afternoons have been spent under a shady tree with a good book and cups of tea and dainty cakes have been enjoyed with girlfriends. It's such a pretty time of year but it's with excitement and anticipation that I look forward to summer - my favourite season of them all!

All Dressed In White

Today is an sensory overload of gorgeous white country images.

I never get sick of pretty white interiors ~

it makes me want to rush out and re-decorate my house
