I am old fashioned at girl at heart

and I get a lot of pleasure from the simple things in life like....
passionfruit picked straight from the vine and homegrown lemons.
I love passionfruit sponges and anything made with lemons ~
especially lemon curd and lemon delicious pudding!

Spring Cleaning

It's that time of the year when I give the house a good once over.

Everything gets a lick and a polish.

I whip myself into a frenzy of

dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.

By the end of my spring cleaning

the house is literally sparkling and

I feel 100% satisfied with my efforts!

Lunch In The Garden

 

Today if the blue skies and sunshine holds up

I am hosting a lunch in the garden.

I have invited all of my best girlfriends over 

for a gorgeous, girly lunch and catch up.

There will be pimms and lemonade,

salmon with creme fraiche,

garden fresh asparagus and

pretty pastries for dessert.

I am sure it will be a lot of fun!
