A Touch Of Nature

 

I was always start the week of with buying a bunch of fresh flowers.
 It puts a smile on my face and starts the week off on a positive note.
 For me, it symbolises a fresh start, a clean slate and endless possibilities!

Bath Time

  

Nothing relaxes me more after a busy stressful day than a long deep soak in the tub. I fill the bath almost to the brim and have the bubbles so high I can hardly see over the top of them!. I love a bath after dinner and a glass of wine so that I already starting to unwind. By the time I'm done in the bath I'm relaxed, sleepy and ready to crawl into bed for a long and restful sleep!

Vintage Blue

I just love decorating with blue  - it's a colour that most people like - it's a colour that works for both sexes, young and old. It's calming, neutral and easy to live with. Blue accents, whether it be flowers, artwork, soft furnishings or a painted piece of vintage furniture adds colour, character and interest to a scheme without overdoing it.

Colour Me Happy

Just looking at these vintage style prints and pretty pastels makes me happy and inspires me to think creatively. I love injecting different colours, prints and patterns into my decorating schemes and sometimes this is just the kind of creative inspiration I need to think outside the box and try something new!

Bedtime Stories

One of my favourite places is bed.

 I love big soft beds that you sink into

with fluffy feather filled pillows and goose down quilts.

 I love freshly laundered bedlinen and air dried sheets. 

 I love lots of layers and being warm and cosy. 

I could do away with a lot of things in life

but I could never live without my electric blanket!

Lemon Flavoured

 

Loving the freshness of pale lemon yellow - you can almost smell the tanginess of a freshly squeezed lemon! There's nothing more thirst quenching on a hot summer's day than a glass of chilled homemade lemonade! Lemon is also a perfect accent colour for a country style decor scheme. It is a warm and inviting colour that works beautifully as cushions, bedspreads ... even a a front door or a cute dining table! I also love yellow flowers because they never fail to brighten up a home!
