Healthy Living

One of the thing that attracts me most about country life is the healthy lifestyle and good wholesome food. I love the idea of fresh vegies picked straight from the vegie patch and fruit picked straight from the tree. I would love to have a whole orchard of fruit trees. On the top of my list would be a lemon tree along with apricots, plums, nectarines, peaches and apples. Thinks of all the pies and jams I could make! I would also have chickens so that every morning I would wake up to freshly laid eggs!

Kids Spaces

How cute are these rooms with their mix of pastel hues and printed florals? I love the vintage feel with the patchwork quilts, handmade toys, the old wooden rocking horse and I love that tee pee! They are full of life and character and look like they would provide endless hours of amusement for their little inhabitants!

Soft Focus

Here is something pretty and romantic to start off the working week.

The Enchanted Garden

 

Our garden is a wonderland of pleasure. A sanctuary of calm, quiet and tranquility to get lost in a good book or take an afternoon nap. It's a peaceful haven for alfresco lunches and afternoon teas in dappled sunshine, set elegantly under big shady trees. It's a place of magic and adventure for little ones to explore and make believe and it's cool, green oasis in the summertime for kids to run barefoot in the grass.

Sweet & Simple

 

I love the hint of mauve and purple in these spaces. It gives a simple, neutral palette in white and grey an instant lift and an unexpected twist. Just a splash of colour in a bunch of flowers or a coat of mauve paint on a rustic, metal chair brings life and vibrancy to these simple vignettes.
